EASTER CAMP – THANK YOU!
Just over 100 kids attended this year’s Shannon Gaels Easter Camp. A huge thank you to Alo O’Hara and the Midland and Western Livestock Society for allowing us to use their facilities. Due to the adverse weather conditions, we would not have been able to hold the camp without their hospitality.
Thanks to all our coaches, both our senior coaches and also the youths who volunteered to give their time to their club. Thanks also to Deirdre O’Dowd and Clodagh Flanagan for helping out each day during the camp.
Many thanks to Niall Cregg and Leitrim Aura Leisure for facilitating the use of the astra turf and swimming pool, which were thoroughly enjoyed by all the children, and also afforded us the opportunity to give a taster of a broad range of sports and activities during our camp.
A huge thank you to Tracey Duignan and Edel O’Dowd for volunteering their time to organise and run another fantastic camp. We are indebted to all our volunteers and to everyone who helped to make our camp a great success.
We look forward to our Summer Camp, which takes place from Monday, 3rd July to Friday, 7th July.
