WIN A HOUSE IN SLIGO
Our WAHIS fundraiser came to a conclusion on Sunday night when the winner was revealed. Paddy & Anne Henry Sligo are the winners of a beautiful house in Sligo just minutes from Strandhill or €300,000 cash whichever they choose. We wish them the best of luck. Runner up prizes of €1000 each were Mairead Campbell Longford, Eoghan Lundy Sligo, TJ Reynolds Sligo  Hannah Gabes Dublin, Rosaleen Kieran Longford.
We are blown away with the success of this fundraiser and would like to thank everyone who supported it. Thank you to the Win A House committee and everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes to make it a success, the club will be forever grateful. AGM
The Senior board AGM will take place next Friday night 14th Jan by zoom. Details of link will be sent out during the week.
UNDERAGE
The Shannon Gaels Minor Board Annual General Meeting took place online on Friday, 7th January. Outgoing Chairperson Gary Kellegher, Secretary Matt McGovern and Treasurer Caroline Creighton were all thanked for their immense contribution to the club over the last 3 years. Best wishes to the newly elected Chairperson Alan Murray and Secretary Michael Keneghan. All the team sponsors and the many volunteers who give their time to run the Minor Board, and coach all our underage teams were also thanked at the AGM.
HEALTH & WELLBEING
The Irish Life Steps challenge is back and commences on the 19th January.  Our Health & Wellbeing committee have registered the club to take part again this year.  We would be grateful if you could sign up and help us to be in with a chance to win an O’Neills voucher for the club.  All you have to do is download the Irish Life App and follow the instructions.  A message will be circulated to members during the week in relation to joining up.
SYMPATHY
