Notes beginning Monday 3rd May 2021

Congrats to Shane Gatley winner of €286 in our draw on Sunday night. Our chosen charity for the month of May is Cavetown Residents Committe and they start off their month with  €143.  Cavetown Lake is a beautiful amenity in our area and we all get great enjoyment out of it including walkers, runners, our children really enjoy it in the summer months so we would encourage everyone to do their best to support this charity to help them with the upkeep.  Draw takes place again next Sunday night, go to www.404020.ie to enter.  Tickets just €5.  Thank you to everyone for their support.

Our nursery coaching programme for young boys and girls who wish to play Gaelic football is now up and running .  New members are very welcome.  Please contact Gary Kelleher 0879574309 minor chairperson if interested.

With the government announcement last week all our teams will be back to training by 17th May in accordance with covid guidelines.  Just a reminder that registration has to be completed by players and coaches before you go back training.  Registration is online this year with the new online system Foireann.  You can access the system using the link www.foireann.ie .  If you are having any problems with registering please contact Caroline 0876202686 or Fiona 0868491556.

Over the next few weeks we will see all our retailers open up after a long period of being closed.  We would encourage everyone to please shop and socialise locally and support our local businesses who have always supported us in the past.
