Our U8 and U10s had a very enjoyable blitz of Smart Touch Gaelic last Friday evening in Croghan playing against Kilmore. Thank you to all the coaches and parents for organising.

U14 Div 1 team play Roscommon Gaels at 6.45pm this Tuesday evening in Roscommon
The U14 Div 4 team play St Dominics on Friday evening at 7pm in Kilmore. Then on Sunday 13th our minors play Pádraig Pearses at 1pm in Woodmount in Div 1 County semi final. On Monday 14th our U16s play Roscommon Gaels in Lisnamult at 7pm.Best of luck to all teams

LADIES:
1st county title came to the parish for 2020 via our u16 ladies in the Div 1B championship when they beat Boyle in Boyle on Tuesday last. A thriller of a game saw them get on top in the final quarter and stay there till the final whistle. Massive congratulations to Charlie and his back room team and to the girls themselves for a skilful display of wonderful football. Commiserations go to our gallant U14 girls they lost to Roscommon Gaels on Thursday last in the County final which was played in Roscommon. A huge achievement for all involved and it proves that the future of our club is in safe hands with these young talented players.
Well done to Leone and Co and to the U12 girls who have reached the County final which will be played in Croghan on Sunday next 13th September at 5pm.
They had a terrific semi final in Storkestown on Sunday last which went ot extra time twice. They lost by 1 point in the end but they still qualify for the final.
Our Senior ladies made history on Sunday morning in Croghan. They defeated Clan na nGael in the county semi final and will now meet Kilbride in the final on 19th September at a venue to be confirmed.
It is the first time in 55 years that Shannon Gaels has been in a Senior County Final and the first time for a ladies team to do it.
