Our intermediate mens team will play St Dominic’s this Sunday at 4pm in Knockcroghery in the last round game. Bestvof luck to Noel and the lads.Messages will be sent out as regards tickets.
U14 boys championship starts this week with Division 1 games on Tuesday at 7pm in Frenchpark against Western Gaels and on Thursday at 7pm in Croghan versus Clann na Gael. The Division 4 team start their campaign with an away match on Wednesday evening at 7pm in Woodmount against Pádraig.
Ladies
Our U16 ladies played Órán in croghan on Tuesday last in Div 1 round 3. Score finished 3 06 to Orans 2 12.
U14 girls had a wonderful game of football on Thursday last also in croghan against St Croans. They were decisive winners on a scoreline of 6 10 to 1 08.
Leone Carney took her U12 charges to Boyle on Sunday evening and displayed a much improved skill set. They ran out winners on the day. Shannon Gaels 6 Boyle 4.
Our senior ladies took to the field away to kilglass on Sunday morning. With a nice crowd of supporters the girls finished level with their opponents Shannon Gaels 0 15 Kilglass 3 06. Scorers on the day Sorcha Bruen 0 05, Christina Beirne 0 02, Áine O’Dowd 0 06, Aisling Creighton 0 01 and Aisling McDermott 0 91.
