Congrats to Brian Connelly who was our of the 40/40/20 draw on Sunday night. The total takings was a fantastic €1, 160. Thank you to everyone. Brian our winner gets €464, our club gets €464 and our charity The Patient’s Activities fund in The Plunkett Home get €232 which brings the total for our chosen charity for the month to €592, which the club will round off to €600. Many thanks to The Plunkett Home for being our first chosen charity, and thank you for all for the fantastic work ye do looking after our elderly.

Our pitches finally opened up last week and it great to see our teams back training on them. A Covid supervisor has been appointed to every team and will be advising everyone on protocol.
Sympathy of the club is extended to the Gilfinin & Beirne family in Kilmore and also to Kilmore GAA club on the passing of Joe Gilfinin. Joe was president of the club for many years, a true gentleman. Sympathy is also extended to the Cox Family Cootehall and St Michael’s GAA club on the passing of Dermot Cox, Dermot another great GAA man. Ah Dheis De go raibh a anam dilis.
