The Covid 19 virus has everyone worried in our locality at the moment but especially the elderly. The club has put together a list of volunteers from the different areas in the locality to help anyone that is housebound. These volunteers will help with shopping or prescription needs. This list has been sent out to our members by Whats App and Facebook (please see attachment) and we urge them to share this information with those in our community who are not online. Stay safe eveyone and thank you to all the people who are are out there working on the frontline and making sacrifices to keep us all safe.
The club extends sympathy to Tracey McManus and family on the death of her mother Bridget Lynch RIP, also to Alan Murray and family on the death of his father Michael Murray RIP, and to Fiona Dunne and family on the death of her mother Kathleen Healy RIP. This was a particular difficult time for the families due to the Covid-19 situation and the club wants Tracey, Alan and Fiona to know that we are thinking about you and sending all our best wishes to you at this sad time❤️❤️
A table quiz was held on the 6th March last in The Bush Hotel for our combined U14 Feile team. A big thank you to everyone who attended on the night. Also thank you to parents who sponsored spot prizes. Winners of the quiz 1st Harry Rynns team, 2nd Aidan Fallans team and 3rd place was Tom O’Hara’s team. All winners donated back their prize money to the cause which was extremely generous.
