Shannon Gaels adult ladies bowed out of the championship on Saturday when they were beaten by Clann na nGael in the semi final.  We would like to thank the management of Pat Leonard and John O’Dowd with help from John O’Callaghan for their tireless commitment to the ladies.  Thanks also to Mary Finan and Nuala O’Beirne for doing first aid at the games.  To Aisling Creighton for her physio expertise throughout the year.  Massive thanks to the girls themselves for a roller coaster of a year.  They maintain senior status for 2020 and we are all of the firm belief that there is a senior title with Shannon Gaels name on it.  Our club ran an U12 girls blitz in Croghan on Sunday morning which was organised to a very high standard by Leona Carney.  The visiting clubs enjoyed our wonderful facilities in our new pitch.  St. Barrys won the coveted trophies while all others were presented with medals.  Hugh thanks to Leo of Carrick Tiles for the sponsorship of the event.  Also thank you to Chris and pitch committee for having everything in place and once again we must thank the parents for helping out on the day.  Please note that the County Board tickets are still available for purchase from Patricia 0833401907.  The funds from this goes to the development of County teams and the running of the Club competitions.
